A few surgical incisions, a skylight here, a skylight there, and an embrace of old-meets-new was the secret to success at the Dickey - an adaptive reuse stunner on DeKalb Ave. “The king was here,” whispered the king, but when you turned to look, he was already gone. Was the king ever really there?
